Registration Deadline
The deadline to register is April 19th and enrollment will be capped at 40 people.
Registration Fee
Early registration for the Aggie Processed Meat School will be $285 per participant through April 5th. After this date the registration fee will be $350.
Transportation in College Station
If you will be flying into College Station, please contact Dr. Dan Hale (dhale@tamu.edu) if you need to make arrangements for us to pick you up. There is also a taxi service available at the airport.
Lodging
It’s not too early to start making arrangements for your stay in College Station. A block of rooms have been reserved at the Ramada Inn for $60 per night. Please find the contact information for the hotel below.

On April 25, check in will be at 9:00am at the Kleberg Center Department of Animal Science on the Texas A&M University campus (note this is a change in location from the original program). The following is the web address to the Texas A&M Campus Map: aggiemap.tamu.edu, search for Kleberg Center.
Vans and Parking (Please let us know if you want us to pick you up at the Ramada)
During the Aggie Processed Meat School you will have the option of riding in our van back and forth from the Hotel or park your car on campus at a $12/day fee.
What to Wear
If you are wondering what to pack, keep in mind that the meat processing areas could be as cold as 35°F. Long pants and closed toes shoes are required to be worn by all participants. Sweatshirts are recommended. Jewelry, watches, gum, and tobacco products are not allowed in the meat processing facility. We will provide frocks, hairnets, and helmets.
